Third-party software
This application runs on
.NET 8
and ASP.NET Core (MIT, © .NET Foundation and Contributors) and
redistributes the components below. Each is used unmodified under its own
license. All of them are permissive — MIT, the PostgreSQL License
and Apache 2.0 — and the applicable license texts are
reproduced further down this page. The full text also ships inside each
NuGet package
(.nuget/packages/<name>/<version>/).

QuestPDF Community License
QuestPDF is distributed under a dual-license model: a free Community
License (MIT-style) for individuals and organizations with annual
gross revenue below USD 1 000 000, and paid Professional /
Enterprise licenses above that threshold. This application declares
QuestPDF.Settings.License = LicenseType.Community at
startup. If your usage crosses the revenue threshold, the
declaration must change accordingly. Full terms:

System requirements
In the browser
- A current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with WebSocket support. The user interface is Blazor Server — it keeps a live connection open for the duration of the session, so proxies and firewalls must not block WebSocket upgrades.
- JavaScript enabled. File downloads, copy-to-clipboard and the drag-and-drop table controls are implemented through JavaScript interop.
- Cookies enabled. The sign-in cookie and the tenant
selection cookie (
bitlago.tenant, 30 days) are both essential — the application cannot work without them. - An HTTPS connection for copy-to-clipboard actions. The browser Clipboard API is only available in a secure context; over plain HTTP a more limited fallback is used.
- File uploads are limited to 20 MB per transfer.
On the server
- .NET 8 runtime (ASP.NET Core 8). The build is pinned to the .NET 8 SDK.
- PostgreSQL 14 or newer, with the
pg_trgmextension available for full-text and similarity search. - One shared application database plus one database per tenant for module data. Every application instance must be able to reach all of them.
- Data Protection keys are stored in the application database, so a multi-instance deployment shares its key ring through that database rather than through the file system.
- An SMTP account for account-related email (confirmation, password reset).
- A reverse proxy terminating HTTPS. The application itself listens on plain HTTP behind the proxy and enables HSTS and HTTPS redirection outside development.
